~ FAQs ~
What Does Our Program Offer? Our days are filled with exploration, creativity, and hands-on activities that bring us closer to the natural world. Campers have the opportunity to walk though our fields, and harvest the food while learning how it grows. We also take exciting nature hikes, where we discover the wonders of local flora and fauna and engage in fun, educational games that teach us about ecosystems and sustainability. In addition to our farming and nature activities, we offer a variety of arts and crafts projects that use natural materials like leaves, pinecones, and stones. Campers can express their creativity while learning to appreciate the beauty and resources that nature provides. From making leaf prints to building fairy houses, there’s always something new and exciting to create. Our camp is a place where friendships blossom, and everyone is encouraged to work together and support one another. We believe in fostering a sense of community and respect for the environment, ensuring that each camper leaves with a deeper understanding and appreciation for the natural world. Join us for an unforgettable summer of fun, learning, and adventure!

What Is Your Councillor To Camper Ratio? We maintain a 4:1 ratio, ensuring that for every four campers, there is one councillor available to provide guidance and support. This approach not only fosters a nurturing and personalized learning environment in our camp, but also allows for more meaningful interactions and tailored feedback. Our goal is to empower each individual to enjoy and explore their interests, encouraging collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. By maintaining this ratio, we create a community where everyone feels valued and inspired to contribute our camp.
Is There Any Safety Concerns That I Should Be Aware Of? While safety is our top priority, we also aim to educate our campers about fundamental hazards such as water safety and the importance of staying within designated areas when interacting with our animals. We provide engaging and interactive sessions that not only inform but also empower our campers to make wise decisions in any situation. Our trained staff use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, demonstrations, and storytelling, to ensure the lessons are both memorable and enjoyable. Additionally, we encourage a culture of respect and responsibility. Campers learn to look out for one another, fostering a sense of community and teamwork. By the end of their week, our campers are not only more knowledgeable about safety but also more confident in their ability to navigate and enjoy the natural world responsibly. Our goal is to create an environment where learning about safety becomes an adventure in itself, promoting lifelong habits that will keep our campers safe and aware long after they leave us.
