March Break Wild & Wacky Nature Camp

Join us for an exciting Nature March Break Camp, where adventure and exploration await! Campers will enjoy a week filled with hands-on activities, from nature hikes to discover emerging spring flora and fauna to fun games that encourage teamwork and creativity. Each day will feature unique experiences such as crafting with natural materials, learning about local wildlife, and participating in outdoor challenges. With a focus on fostering a love for the great outdoors, this camp promises to be an unforgettable way for kids to connect with nature, make new friends, and create lasting memories during their break!

Animal Adventures

Children can dive into the wonderful world of farm animals and nature! During this immersive experience, campers will have the chance to interact with a variety of friendly animals, including our gentle cows, majestic horses, playful goats, and our loving dogs who will accompany us on our nature walks. 

 

Each day will be packed with hands-on activities that allow children to learn about animal care and behaviour. They’ll help feed the cows, groom the horses, and even assist in caring for our mischievous goats, all while discovering the important roles these animals play on the farm. Our walks with the dogs will provide a unique opportunity for campers to bond with our four-legged friends as they explore the beautiful landscapes and trails surrounding the farm.

 

In addition to animal interactions, campers will engage in fun games and crafts inspired by their furry friends. They’ll learn about the importance of compassion and responsibility towards animals, fostering a deeper understanding of the connection between humans and nature. 

 

Whether it’s brushing a horse's mane, feeding a goat, or enjoying the companionship of our dogs on a leisurely walk, Animal Adventures are designed to inspire a love for animals and the outdoors while creating unforgettable memories.

Nature Scavenger Hunts & Games

Our Nature Scavenger Hunts and Games are where exploration and excitement await in the great outdoors! This camp is designed to get campers moving, observing, and learning about the natural world around them. Throughout the week, participants will embark on thrilling scavenger hunts, using their senses to discover a variety of plants, animals, and natural treasures hidden in our beautiful surroundings. 

 

With checklists in hand, campers will work in teams to find items such as unique leaves, colorful flowers, or interesting rocks, all while developing their observation skills and learning about local ecosystems. Along the way, they’ll engage in fun nature-themed games that promote teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. From relay races to nature-themed trivia, these activities are designed to ignite a sense of adventure and camaraderie among campers.

 

In addition to the scavenger hunts and games, participants will have the chance to create nature-inspired crafts using their findings, allowing them to express their creativity while fostering a deeper appreciation for the environment. Our Nature Scavenger Hunts and Games Camp is the perfect opportunity for children to connect with nature.

Nature Crafts & Activities

Our Nature Crafts and Activities Camp are where creativity meets the great outdoors! This camp is designed to inspire young artists and nature enthusiasts alike through a variety of hands-on projects and engaging activities. Campers will have the chance to explore their artistic side with nature-themed painting sessions, using leaves, flowers, and other natural materials to create beautiful works of art that reflect the beauty of the environment around them.

 

In addition to painting, participants will dive into exciting nature experiments, such as creating homemade bird feeders, observing local wildlife, and discovering the properties of different plants and soil. We’ll also engage in fun activities like building fairy houses from natural materials, making nature journals to document their observations, and crafting unique sculptures using twigs, stones, and other found objects.

 

Throughout the week, campers will learn about the importance of conservation and sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly practices into their crafts. They’ll also have the opportunity to share their creations in a mini art show at the end of the camp, celebrating their hard work and artistic expression.

 

The Nature Crafts and Activities are perfect for children who love to explore both their creativity and the wonders of the natural world.

Learning About Where Food Comes From

We welcome our Food Origins and Organic Farming to our camp, where children will embark on an exciting journey to discover where their food comes from and the importance of sustainable farming practices! Throughout this immersive experience, campers will engage in activities that take them from seed to plate examples, exploring the entire process of food production.

 

Participants will learn about organic farming techniques as they work in our garden, planting seeds, tending to crops, and understanding how to nurture the soil without harmful chemicals. They’ll discover the benefits of organic practices, including crop rotation, composting, and the importance of biodiversity in maintaining healthy ecosystems.

 

In addition to gardening, campers will explore our local farm and meet some of farmers who will share their knowledge about raising animals and growing fruits and vegetables. Through interactive discussions and activities, children will learn about the different stages of food production, from planting and harvesting to processing and cooking.

 

Through the Food Origins and Organic Farming practices, this is a fantastic opportunity for children to connect with nature, develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for healthy, sustainable eating.
